An era is ending

Since Windows XP has been released, it was and still is, the most often used OS in Microsoft’s history. After 5 Years of Mainstream support, since April 2009 (SP3 in April 2010) the only available extended support reaches its end by April 2014.

To be on the safe side, you should plan your migration with a minimum period of 1 or 1 ½ years, depending on the amount of computers and application to be migrated. The best way to start is to take the migration project into your budget account.
